Hi everyone
Those of you that know us well know we are passionate about animal welfare and work tirelessly behind the scenes trying to make a difference to the thousands of abused, neglected and abandoned animals. When you get time, please download and read the attached article.
As a nation of animal lovers, it’s about time we started acting like it and started working as one united force to stop cruelty and suffering.
This article highlights primarily boarding kennels and the horrific tales of events that have happened again and what we can all do to try to prevent it going on in plain sight of us all. Not all of you will be aware of this, so it’s worth a read.
It’s not just for our rescue contacts but our members as well for you to be aware of something you maybe never knew had happened and is happening. And maybe new visitors to our website can also now make themselves aware.
Of course, not all rescues use third-party kennels as they have their own facilities but in emergencies this might be the case. Rescues are under so much pressure to help so many animals now and this isn’t getting any easier due to the constant puppy breeders causing thousands of unwanted, often sick pups having to come into rescue and of course the puppy smugglers, all of whom are despicable. But that’s a subject for another time.
Rescue is not easy, it’s non-stop, so my heart-felt thanks go out to you, who pretty-much put your own life and families’ lives on hold to help these animals. And to all the pound pullers who literally do save animals from death row.
It’s not something for debate or discussion really but please read it and if nothing else, it might raise awareness and make you think.
Please feel free to share the more people know the better.
Thank you for your time and happy to hear from you on messenger J Caz (Batters) x
We cannot turn a blind eye to the suffering happening in plain sight. This article uncovers the heartbreaking reality of third-party boarding kennels and what we, as a united force of animal lovers, can do to stop it. Please take a moment to educate yourself and help us protect those who cannot speak for themselves.
