This group used to be called Rescue Register but because it does so much more than that (and it’s not strictly a register!) we thought now would be a good time to change it to something much more fitting.
It’s here that rescues and members of the public can ask us questions and tap into our knowledge and expertise in the animal rescue world. From this group we can direct and guide them to the appropriate Animal Team group or offer advice/guidance.
One of the services we offer here is that rescues can advertise the many animals they have ready for rehoming. These are shared across Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. We have done this for over ten years, so please visit our Facebook page to view the dogs and cats looking for new homes.
We will promote on the behalf of a rescue, animals urgently in need of a rescue space (Rescue Space Finder) or a foster placement. We also actively promote Lost and Found hoping to help animals be reunited with owners and rescues.
Our admins work tirelessly to help raise funds for good causes within the animal rescue world and our Resources group regularly hold “K-9 Hour” on Twitter to raise awareness for certain animals who need it most. Remember, our Resources Admins are all volunteers as well and have a wealth of experience to offer and handle numerous questions daily about The Animal Team and rescue in general, so with our full resources at your disposal we can help and point you in the right direction.

To be an active rescue on any of our groups, please complete and return the following form so you can be allocated a URRN (Unique Rescue Reference Number) that you can use for all our groups. Please complete our Rescue Registration Form
We will help a rescue in any way we can to help secure a positive outcome for any animal in need. We are also vocal about animal welfare and are currently developing a new group to explore and tackle legislations and rulings which are often out of date.
We are continuing to build a Foster Register, utilising our vetted and approved members who also offer to foster for us across the UK, so that we can continue to provide rescues with help finding emergency fosterers. This is a service we hope to be able to build-on and develop further into 2021 and the years to come.
If we can help you or if you have a dog in need or at risk as a rescue, please email: theanimalteamuk@gmail.com and one of the team will get back to you ASAP as we’ll need to gather information from you about your specific requirements.
All our admins utilise Facebook, Twitter and Instagram to its best ability making absolute use of the many animal-loving and rescue-oriented friends and followers. We regularly share appeals on social media for rescues and rescuers doing all they can to save lives.
You are under no obligation to commit to the time you can give – any is appreciated. If you feel you can help, please visit any of our Facebook pages and click on Join. You will be welcomed by our Membership Admins and guided through the process. We look forward to hearing from you, as we need all the new members we can get in certain areas.
We are happy to assist any rescue or individual with their enquiries and offer workable solutions.
