Our transport group was set-up to help with the transport of animals from and to various places; from foster to adoption, rescue to foster, pounds to rescue and emergency boarding and much more. It’s not only cats and dogs we transport – we’ve helped transport reptiles, birds, rabbits and now even the odd pig or two! We and our transporters are willing to help any animal in need.
Our Transport Admins, remember, all our admins are volunteers themselves, work long hours and their dedication and experience in planning runs means we offer fast and safe transport along a ‘chain-link’ transport system whereby a journey is often split between transporters so no-one has to do huge amounts of driving unless they choose to. This means that for example, a rescue in Kent no longer finds it difficult to re-home an animal in Cumbria, as with so many members UK-wide, we can usually get each run requested covered quickly.
This is an extremely rewarding thing to do if you have the spare time, helping to get animals to a better home in many cases. You are under no obligation to commit to time you can give – any is appreciated.
If you feel you can help, please visit our Facebook page and click on join. You will be welcomed by our Membership Admins and guided through the process. We look forward to hearing from you, as we need all the new members we can get in certain areas.
