2025 was a memorable year for one little bear as he was asked to become an ambassador for an animal charity in the UK. The Animal Team had noticed Tony Ted from his vlogs of his adventures and explorations of the world. They thought what a good idea it would be to invite him to become a face for their outstanding work efforts and ethics for all animals and their welfare. Tony readily accepted and was amazed to realise that these wonderful people actually knew him.

Tony was invited to take part in many of the services that the team provide. Registered rescues are offered a selection of services in the UK which, in turn, can also help rescues abroad too. From homechecks to assessments to transport, they provide it all.
Tony was very impressed and honoured to find that not only had the team had the forethought to provide him with a very smart uniform, but to create it in his very favourite colour was a sign of their attention to detail! He thinks it suits him very well.
After a few weeks of intense training Tony accepted his first solo homecheck. He could not have been happier! With clipboard in hand, he knocked on the door and was greeted by a lovely family who left him to explore their home and garden alone, and he did so with vigour.

He wandered around making notes as he went. First the kitchen – in his opinion THE most important place in a home and downstairs living space. From there he visited the bedrooms making sure there was nothing that might cause any harm or injury to the new dog/cat the family were hoping to adopt. Everything was ship shape and Tony did actually think that he might like to move in too!

When he reached the outdoor space, he was completely blown away! The garden was full of beautiful flowers, the scent of which hit him full in the face as he stepped into the sunshine. Summertime is his favourite season and barbeques round at his Grandma’s is always a good time to catch up, and to stuff his face with grilled this and that! Vegetarian of course!
There was plenty of space for a new pet to explore the garden and Tony made sure he did a very good job of that on their behalf. He looked at all the possibilities of escape and was happy to find that he couldn’t squeeze out of any gaps beneath the tall gate or scramble over the high fences. In fact, he was so satisfied that he fell asleep among the fragrant blooms!

After giving the whole family the chance to answer some relevant questions Tony was quite satisfied that any pet would have a lovely life with them and their other fur friend, Jim. As far as he was concerned their future together was going to be rosy. Meet Rosy!
Tony is happy to be volunteering for The Animal Team and is looking forward to doing more whenever he can.
